Not doing all that well.

November 24, 2010

Heading back to the hospital in 1.5 hours (10:00 Pacific time) to get another liter drawn off the lining between lung and chest wall. Remember, they can take only a liter at a time, and they had to leave at least that. I hope this isn’t a daily occurrence. Please pray it’ll be effective and GO AWAY entirely this time. Should be out of there by 2:00-ish unless something goes wrong or they decide to keep me over night for observation. They might even install a drain so I can drip dry.

Daniel’s getting a little disturbed by all of this. Very very  hard on the family.

To make this explanation a little simpler, remember when you slipped and fell off your bicycle and scraped your knee or elbow, and it oozed for several days and sometimes more? This is what is happening to Jill. finding the root cause is not going to be an easy job and just letting it heal itself (a scab) is the easiest. Not always possible but a try is necessary. And it might be oozing for quite a time. After all it is inside the body where air cannot form the scab. Cause???.
I do love her and cannot wait to hug her and say a prayer with her. Keep up the good job all her friends. Prayers for you too. Mom

Oozing, please stop. My lungs filled pretty quickly after cyberknife, so I wonder if there was a bit of injury there to the lung or maybe the tumor that they treated has just been bashing against my lung for so long it finally caused a bad injury. Let’s hope it doesn’t fill again before I can see the lung guy. I don’t really want to be in and out of the hospital all weekend getting drained.
