Well…
December 7, 2010
Debbie here. This will for sure be short. No clear picture of what is going on with Jill. She is still very agitated and not very lucid. They’re giving her more drugs to help with the agitation. Hank’s big prayer requests are for someone to sit down and give us the big picture and for lucidity for Jill. The doctors use a lot of big scary words, but nothing to really help the family make the right decisions for Jill. I’m taking the rest of the week off of work. It’s not looking great, but neither is it hopeless. Thanks!
Debbie

Continuing to pray. . .
appreciate the update. Jill is often in my thoughts.
Thank you Debbie for keeping us informed. Hugs, loves and prayers always for Jill and her family.
How worriesome. I hope you get a clear picture very soon and that it is a good picture.
Hi Debbie,
Not sure what to say except she’s in our hearts. Thank you for keeping us informed.
Maria
I hold a hope that this is just the side effects of that new chemo doing some great work. Bill and I are making the drive again in the morning. We’ll see lots of our family members there. It’s gonna be a full room with Jill.
At my office, our overworked 3-person department is down to 2, for 3 months, while one is on maternity leave (Mom, the baby was born on your birthday!), but my boss said, “just go.” Nice boss. Thanks, Tom, for trying to do 3 peoples’ jobs tomorrow. Even while you have your own family scare going on.
Blessings on all,
Kim
Lots of love..
Thanks again Debbie for your continued updates.
Praying here, for effective and timely communication from the drs, and lucidity for Jill,
Sarah
Thank you so much Debbie for updating – I’ve been checking the blog all day to see how things are going. My heart is so heavy for Jill – praying fervently that God will give His perfect peace to all of you.
Thinking of you and praying for all of you. Love, Colleen and Ed
Prayers still. Lots of them. Holding you Jill, and your family in my heart.
Thanks, Debbie… you and your whole family are in our prayers…. and for gosh sakes… can’t those doctors use easier to understand language? You all must be way too tired to deal with that! I’ll be praying that someone will be an angel and run some interference and help you get some answers in easier to understand language…you need an allie!
I wish you peace
Liz
Thank you for the update! Does the hospital have a case manager? Is there a way to find out if the medications are causing less then lucid thoughts from another practioner assessing the impact of the medications?
Can I help? ahknaton@rocketmail.com or cell 509-607-9353
I watched my Dad go through some of this and we figured out which med. was making it worse. I am so terribly sorry and continued prayers!!! I am pretty good at case management if I don’t say so myself;-) and did it for my Dad through Chemo and am now helping while he starts radiation.
The body.. spirit… mind are very connected.
((HUGS)) to you all. Please let me know if I can help..
Not far from my thoughts and heart…….
Thinking about all of you, every day.
Debbie, Thanks for keeping us updated about Jill. I will continue to pray for Jill and your whole family.
I agree with Liz. Can’t these doctors use easier language that we all can understand? Jill is such an expert at taking volumes of info and boiling it down to clear, concise verbage that we all can understand. The least the docs can do is offer her the same courtesy.
Let’s see if I can make myself clear. We love you, Jill! Thank you, Deb, for being there for your sis (and a huge thanks for the rest of the fam who is so connected!!). We are so thankful for you and are praying praying praying you through this day by day…by day, by day…
((Hugs)) and lots of optimism,
Jennifer
